How to… Sushi Category: Recipes

We are sort-of on a health kick at the moment. Most days at work last week I had sushi for lunch, so we decided it was time to try & replicate some at home….

Equipment & Ingredients

  • Rolling Mat
  • Sushi Rice
  • Nori – the seaweed wrap
  • Rice vinegar/seasoning
  • Pickled, Sliced Ginger
  • Soy Sauce

Granola Breakfast Bars Category: Recipes

Yesterday I came across this recipe via tastespotting. Now I’ve been on the look out for something like this for ages and as we’d made some granola a few weeks ago, I had the ingredients in to give it a go.

It was very quick and easy – I adapted the recipe & amounts to what we had in and I didn’t want too much sauce to glue it all together…

Leftovers for Lunch and Burgers for Dinner Category: Recipes

We still have some of the cooked salmon in the fridge. I enjoyed a slice of it for lunch yesterday on a slice of toasted chilli bread…

For dinner we couldn’t decide what to have. It was one of those days when you know what you do not want. So we ruled out pasta (had too much recently), rice, fish & chicken. I flicked through some books for inspiration and came across the LA Burger in Bill Granger’s – Every Day.

Easy and quick to make, but very nice…

A Good Friday Feast Category: Recipes
